Be Careful With Your Words - A Lesson for Teachers

The Boy came home from school yesterday with a story about his 5th grade teacher.

Apparently, she is really, really surprised that what she says in class gets back to the parents. She made a statement about "feeling like killing someone" over late homework and one kid ran out of the classroom and went home.

Okay, maybe this kid exaggerated a bit. But how can she not be aware that what she says will be relayed as part of each kid's day?

She says she was being sarcastic. The Boy says she is never scarcastic or even funny, how were they to know?
